Leadership is a team effort consisting of our Pastoral Staff, an Elder Team and a Deacon Team. The Elders at GPC partner with the staff to guide the mission and vision of the church. The Deacons support the Elders and staff by caring for and guiding the physical needs and facility. We are all accountable to God and one another with our congregation providing guidance and support on the larger issues of ministry.
I have been married to my beautiful wife Jen since 1998 and have three great kids - Megan, Liana & Luke. Undoubtedly the greatest challenge of my life is passing on the faith to my kids in creative, fun and meaningful ways.
I am driven by a desire to see followers of Jesus be the church in the place God has placed them, not just come to a church near where God has placed them. I love to encourage people to step into their fears and see their faith grow and see God work. I love to hear the stories of how God has been working in so many different people's lives.
I am an avid biker and also enjoy playing guitar, reading, all types of family vacations, and following most Philly sports teams.
I graduated from Lancaster Bible College and Dallas Theological Seminary and have been at Grace Point since 2003.
I have been married to my gorgeous wife Catherine since 2007. I am captivated by her warmth, energy and love every day. We have four amazing children: Claire (2008), Ethan (2010), Amelia (2012), and Lincoln (2014). Each of their unique personalities provides variety and challenge to our lives. It is my prayer that each of of my children will grow up to make the most of their gifts and talents for the sake of God's Kingdom in the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of His Holy Spirit.
My passion and desire is to point people to Jesus Christ and walk side-by-side with them as they live out their faith journey. I am driven by a vision to see the church come together and function as a unified body of believers with singleness of mind and purpose. With joined head, heart and hands, I see the church impacting the world in eternally significant ways. I am not typically outspoken but love engaging people in deep meaningful one-on-one conversations.
I have competed in several triathlons and one Ironman event (Lake Placid 2007). I have recently joined up with the Welsh Mountain Wheelmen and have enjoyed the road racing experience with them. I love sports and outdoor adventure and feel most connected to God when engaged with His glorious creation.
I graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Fine Art and Columbia International University with a Masters of Divinity in Ministry Leadership. I am thrilled to be a part of what God is doing at Grace Point Church and look forward to this upcoming season of ministry.
My position is probably the most unique of us all. I am a Grace Point employee, but work primarily with the Pequea Valley School District to incorporate literacy in the homes of children (birth to 5) by providing parent education, supplying literacy resources, tools, and kindergarten readiness workshops. My position correlates with the Together Initiative Network and United Way's Bold Goal #1: 100% of our children will enter kindergarten ready to learn. When I am not working with Pequea Valley, you can find me working with Grace Point in the Children's Ministry department.
In my eyes, this position is the best of both of my worlds - church and education. I have an elementary teaching background, which I am able to use in this role and also help to serve my church through my work. I love being part of a job where I fully embrace the vision (both of GPC and PV) and feel like I am called to help my community in this way.
In 2015 I married my husband Austin, whom I met at Messiah College and is a PV grad himself. At Messiah I gained a PreK-4/K-8 Special Education Dual Certification. Austin and I currently live in Gordonville awaiting construction of our new home to be finished. In my free time I like to read, spend time outside, be creative (crafting, watercolor-ing, home decorating, etc.), and going on walks with our dog, Bailey.
One of the greatest joys in my life is being married to Tim Rogers and together raising our three children, Megan, Liana & Luke. There are some hectic days with three active children and juggling schedules, but I wouldn't trade a minute of it. Doing life together is definitely an adventure!
I love being part of a church that wants to engage with our community as we grow together. I value working as part of a team and sharing honestly about life with those around me. Another highlight for me is being part of the GPC Worship Team.
In my free time I enjoy running, reading, cheering for my kids' teams and spending time with my family.
I have been the Administrative Assistant at Grace Point Church since 2000. I enjoy the flexibility of my job and also the opportunity to be involved in the Paradise community, working alongside The Factory Ministries and the Pequea Valley School District.
I've been married to my wonderful husband Brad since 1988. We have three sons - Austin (recently married to Katie Haldeman) Connor (engaged to be married to Kristy King) and Dylan. In my spare time I enjoy working outdoors, family time, cross fit workouts at the gym and reading.
