Leadership at Grace point

Leadership is a team effort consisting of our Pastoral Staff, an Elder Team and support staff.  The Elders at GPC partner with the staff to guide the mission and vision of the church.  We are all accountable to God and one another with our congregation providing guidance and support on the larger issues of ministry.

  • Tim Rogers, Lead Pastor

I have been married to my beautiful wife Jen since 1998 and have three great kids - Megan, Liana & Luke.  Undoubtedly the greatest challenge of my life is passing on the faith to my kids in creative, fun and meaningful ways.

I am driven by a desire to see followers of Jesus be the church in the place God has placed them, not just come to a church near where God has placed them. I love to encourage people to step into their fears and see their faith grow and see God work. I love to hear the stories of how God has been working in so many different people's lives.

I am an avid biker and also enjoy playing guitar, reading, all types of family vacations, and following most Philly sports teams.

I graduated from Lancaster Bible College and Dallas Theological Seminary and have been at Grace Point since 2003.

  • Kevin Hackett, Pastor of Student Ministries

I have been married to my gorgeous wife Catherine since 2007. I am captivated by her warmth, energy and love every day. We have five amazing children: Claire (2008), Ethan (2010), Amelia (2012), Lincoln (2014) and Lucy (2018). Each of their unique personalities provides variety and challenge to our lives. It is my prayer that each of of my children will grow up to make the most of their gifts and talents for the sake of God's Kingdom in the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of His Holy Spirit.

My passion and desire is to point people to Jesus Christ and walk side-by-side with them as they live out their faith journey. I am driven by a vision to see the church come together and function as a unified body of believers with singleness of mind and purpose. With joined head, heart and hands, I see the church impacting the world in eternally significant ways. I am not typically outspoken but love engaging people in deep meaningful one-on-one conversations.

I have competed in several triathlons and one Ironman event (Lake Placid 2007). I have recently joined up with the Welsh Mountain Wheelmen and have enjoyed the road racing experience with them. I love sports and outdoor adventure and feel most connected to God when engaged with His glorious creation.

I graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Fine Art and Columbia International University with a Masters of Divinity in Ministry Leadership. I am thrilled to be a part of what God is doing at Grace Point Church and look forward to this upcoming season of ministry.

  • Greg Petersheim, executive pastor

Coming from 28 years of experience in the high end custom cabinet industry I enjoy systems that eliminate barriers to organizational or personal growth. I enjoy working in a team environment, as we can encourage each other towards greater things, and have fun along the way.

Recently remarried after losing my first wife to cancer, Tina and I are looking forward to the next chapter of life together with our adult children Corinne (and her husband Corey), Micah, and Lauren.  I enjoy anything to do with worship music and riding motorcycle.

  • christy burke, Kids ministry director

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Roger since 1990. Together we have three very different, amazing kids, Casey, Madison and Lily. It’s been my joy as a mom to watch the bond of friendship they share and my continual prayer has been that they also grow in friendship with Jesus, trusting his plan and purpose for their lives.

Having been the daughter of an airline pilot and an Air force wife, I’ve been privileged to live throughout the United States. The experience of moving often has contributed to my belief in the power of Christ-centered community to transform and strengthen lives. I feel blessed to maintain relationships with women who have been part of my church families over the years and throughout the country.

Since joining the GPC family in 2019, I’ve enjoyed serving on the greeting team, women’s ministry and kid’s ministry. I am passionate about encouraging all people, children to adults to connect in community and grow in relationship with Jesus Christ.  The kids ministry director position will enable me to use my gifts of teaching and encouraging to  fulfill that passion as I serve children, families and volunteers. . I am so thankful to be a part of what God is doing in and through GPC, and look forward to the future.

  • Jen Rogers, Pastoral ministries assistant

One of the greatest joys in my life is being married to Tim and together raising our three children, Megan, Liana & Luke. There are some hectic days with three active children and juggling schedules, but I wouldn't trade a minute of it. Doing life together is definitely an adventure!

I love being part of a church that wants to engage with our community as we grow together. I value working as part of a team and sharing honestly about life with those around me. Another highlight for me is being part of the GPC Worship Team.

In my free time I enjoy running, reading, cheering for my kids' teams and spending time with my family.

  • jan Clemmer, office ministry assistant

I started as the Office Ministry Assistant in 2019 but have attended GPC for most of my life.  I love being part of a church family that seeks ways to be involved in our community and serve those around us!  I enjoy serving on the Worship Team as well as working with this amazing team!

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Marty, since 1998 and we have been blessed with 3 children, Alyssa, Devon and Adalie. My absolute favorite place to be is spending time with my family, playing games and traveling to visit new places. We are in the middle of crazy schedules with 2 in college and one in high school but we love this stage of life and I am grateful for the blessing of doing life with them each day! I also enjoy playing piano, attending our kids' tennis matches and events and hosting their friends in our home.
